Return & Refund Policy
1. Time Period for Accepting Returns
Exchanges and refunds will be given within 30 days of receiving the product. Please make sure you have checked your order carefully before completing your purchase. To begin your return process, please contact: service@thespaceice.com. You will receive a response within 48 business hours.
2. Requirements for Returns and Exchanges
- Returns must be initiated and items shipped back within 30 days of the delivery date.
- All returns must be in unused, unworn, and resalable condition. Products that have been altered or damaged, including wear, stains, scratches, or cologne/perfume scents, are not eligible and will be returned to you at your expense. Spaceice does not offer pre-paid shipping labels.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging.
- The cost of return and re-shipment is at the buyer's expense. We are unable to refund your original postage or return postage unless the product is defective or incorrect.
- If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or style, please place a new order for the item you want after your return is accepted.
Please note:
- All sales of custom-made items are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for items described as "engraved", "custom", "personalized", "photo", or "personalized jewelry". Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Moissanite items that are custom-made or engraved are also non-returnable.
- If an item is returned to us due to non-payment of duties and taxes, a 30% restocking fee will apply.
- Refused or Unclaimed Packages (Domestic): Packages shipped within the United States that are returned as rejected or unclaimed are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the item refund.
- International Rejected Shipments: The customer is responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees, duties and/or taxes incurred, and the cost of returning the package to Spaceice, even if the shipment is refused. These costs will be deducted from your merchandise refund. If the deductible costs exceed the value of the merchandise, we will contact you to discuss resolution options before any further action is taken.
3. How to Start a Return
- To begin your return process, please contact us at service@thespaceice.com. You will receive a response within 48 business hours. Please note: the return address is not the address on your package — always contact customer service first to obtain a return authorization.
- If your return is accepted, we will send you a return address and instructions on how to send the item back. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Once a return is approved, customers must ship their items back within the 30-day return window. Please provide the order number, shipping carrier, and tracking number when shipping your return.
- Please allow up to 5 business days for your exchange to be processed and shipped after we receive your return (except for backordered items).
- Custom and solid gold items cannot be accepted for return, as each piece is individually made to order.
- Spaceice will only provide domestic prepaid return labels if we have made an error with your order.
4. How Long Does a Refund Take?
- Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you within 7 business days. If the refund is approved, you will automatically receive a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. If your original payment method is unavailable, we will issue store credit of equivalent value. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
*Please note: Standard shipping charges are non-refundable. While you may have benefited from free or discounted shipping, we cover the original shipping costs for each order and are therefore unable to refund them.
5. Damages and Problems
- Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can assess the issue and make it right.
- For customers who receive the wrong item, or items that are broken, defective, or have incorrect engraving, Spaceice will resend a replacement product. For broken or defective items, customers must contact Spaceice customer service within 72 hours of receiving the order.
